محدوده ولتاژ ورودی ماژول افزاینده DC به DC 150 وات از 10 تا 32 ولت و محدوده خروجی آن 12 تا 35 ولت با حداکثر جریان 6 آمپر است. خروجی آن با استفاده از پتانسیومتر روی برد قابل تنظیم است.
این ماژول افزاینده ولتاژ غیرایزوله است و به دلیل این که افزاینده ولتاژ (Boost Voltage Converter) است، ولتاژ ورودی باید کمتر از خروجی باشد.
ماژول تبدیل DC به DC افزاینده با تراشه کنترلر PWM مود جریان (Current Mode PWM Controller) به نام UC3844 از شرکت TI طراحی شده است.
این ماژول دارای هیت سینک (Heatsink) است. برای توان‌های بیش از 100 وات نیاز به خنک‌کاری بیشتر با فن دارد.
یکی از پر کاربردترین استفاده‌ها از این ماژول، تبدیل 12 ولت به ولتاژ‌های 18 و تبدیل 12 ولت به 24 ولت است.
نکات مهم در استفاده از ماژول مبدل افزاینده ولتاژ
بیش از حد بارگذاری نکنید! حداکثر مقادیر نامی هرگز نباید از بارگذاری پیوسته بیشتر باشد وگرنه ماژول آسیب خواهد دید.
برای جلوگیری از بارگذاری بیش از حد و احتمال آتش سوزی، مطمئن شوید که حفاظت صحیح، مانند فیوز در ورودی ماژول قرار دارد.
در توان بالای 50 وات نیاز به خنک‌کاری بیشتر می‌شود. اگر می خواهید بیش از 100 وات تبدیل کنید، یک فن ضروری است. دمای زیر 80 درجه سانتیگراد باشد. همچنین ممکن است مبدل در یک محیط گرم قرار بگیرد. این بدان معناست که حتی اگر کمتر از 100 وات تبدیل کنید، ممکن است به یک فن نیاز باشد. دما در هر صورت باید در محدوده ذکر شده در بالا کنترل شود.

150W DC-DC Boost Converter 10-30V to 12-35V – Max 10A Output
This versatile DC-DC boost power supply/converter module steps up any input voltage from 10V to 32V to any output voltage from 12V to 35V at up to 150W output power and 6A current.
The 150W DC-DC Boost Converter 10-32V to 12-35V 6A Step-Up Adjustable Power Supply is well into the heavy-duty end of the spectrum @ 150W; as you can tell by the huge toroidal inductor and dual heatsinks.
It is especially useful for automotive 12V applications, where standard 12V battery power can be boosted to 19V for use as a laptop computer power supply, or to 18V or 24V for other applications requiring higher voltages.
Please note there is no reverse polarity protection. A series diode is recommended. For high loads this might not be an option; so be cautious of the input polarity or you might fry the module!

Does NOT limit current, do not overload!
The maximum rated values should NEVER be continuous from the load or else the module will be damaged.
Be sure to install correct circuit protection, such as fuses, to the input of the module to avoid overloading and the potential for fire.
Please enhance heat dissipation above 50W
if you want to convert more than 100W, then a fan is necessary. This should keep be the temperature below 80°C.
It can also happen that the converter is placed in a warm/hot room. This means that a fan may be needed even if you convert less than 100W.
The temperature must in any case be controlled within the above mentioned range.
Failure to take these precautions and incorrect use of this module may result in damage, fire, and/or personal injury.
Output setpoint voltage must always be greater than applied input voltage.
The potentiometer makes several turns. So, it may take a while before you have reached the desired voltage. The potentiometer can rotate about 25x from start to finish.
Set the output voltage to the desired level using a voltmeter before connecting it to your equipment or load.
Short circuit protection: None, please use caution to protect the module from overcurrent
Please note there is no reverse polarity protection. Please use a diode in series with the input to protect against input reverse polarity. For high loads this might not be an option; so be cautious of the input polarity or you might fry the module!
Applications
DIY adjustable output vehicle power supply. Provide 12V input, the output voltage can be continuously adjusted from 14V to 35V (output voltage cannot be lower than the input voltage).
Universal car laptop power supply. Provide 12V input, the output voltage is adjustable to your notebook to work. Can easily drive dual-core or quad-core notebooks at 19V and up to 6A output current.
Boost Charger, to convert your car’s 12V power to greater than 12V, such as 18V or 24V
Power supply for your electronic devices, as long as the voltage is adjusted to the voltage and does not exceed the module’s rated current.
