ماژول فرستنده و گیرنده مادون قرمز
سیگنال دریافت شده توسط گیرنده با یک سطح ولتاژ قابل تنظیم مقایسه می‌شود. از قطعه LM358 که یک آپ-امپ (Op-Amp) است برای مقایسه استفاده می‌شود. با استفاده از یک پتانسیومتر سطح ولتاژ برای مقایسه قابل تنظیم است.
با تغییر سطح ولتاژی که سیگنال برگشتی با آن مقایسه می‌شود می‌توان محدوده مسافت شناسایی مانع را تغییر داد.
محدوده مسافت تشخیص این سنسور فرستنده و گیرنده مادون قرمز، 2 تا 30 سانتی‌متر است. این محدوده با استفاده از پتانسیومتر روی برد قابل تنظیم است.
این ماژول دو LED دارد. LED تغذیه و LED شناسایی مانع. روشن شدن LED تغذیه وجود تغذیه را نشان می‌دهد. LED شناسایی مانع هنگامی که یک مانع شناسایی شود روشن می‌شود.
ارتباط با این ماژول مادون قرمز از طریق یک هدر نری سه پایه انجام می‌شود. سه پایه OUT، VCC و GND به ترتیب خروجی ماژول، تغذیه و زمین هستند.
خروجی (OUT) ماژول تشخیص مانع (IR) دیجیتال است. به هنگام تشخیص مانع، سطح پایین و در بقیه حالت‌ها سطح بالا است.
اتصال ماژول تشخیص مانع مادون قرمز به برد آردوینو، بردهای توسعه، میکروکنترلرهای AVR، ARM ساده و به راحتی قابل انجام است.
از این ماژول IR برای تشخیص مانع، ساخت ربات تعقیب خط و وجود یک جسم در یک مسافت مشخص استفاده می‌شود.

This IR sensor can detect obstacles in front of it. When an object is detected the green indicator light on the board will light up. There is a low-level output signal on the OUT port.
It has a detection range of 2-30 cm at an angle up to 35 degrees.
The detection distance can be changed by using the potentiometer. To increase rotate the dial clockwise.
Connect the OUT pin on the sensor module directly to you IO port.
